Arrest Records in Sullivan County
The Pennsylvania State Police Laporte station is the county's main patrol and investigative agency. Sullivan County planning sources identify no municipal police department. A narrow request tied to a known event is more useful than asking PSP to answer a broad question about someone.
Four Sullivan County Arrest Records
The incident report explains what police were called to investigate and the basis for the arrest. The host-jail booking entry documents intake, custody, charge and bail data, and release or transfer. The MDJ docket tracks the first court appearance and preliminary steps. Common Pleas records show the filed prosecution after bind-over. These records can share an OTN, complaint number, incident number, or docket reference, but their contents and custodians remain distinct.

A releasable Sullivan County arrest file may include identifiers that connect the police event to booking and court records. Public content varies by custodian and by the status of the investigation. Sullivan County Custody Search Limits

The PA DOC Inmate/Parolee Locator is updated daily and can show a state inmate or parolee by last name or inmate number. It does not cover county facilities, contracted pretrial custody outside the state system, or federal detention.

For a fresh Sullivan County arrest, the sequence is Sheriff, confirmed host jail, and PA SAVIN. UJS can show bail and court events but is not a live roster. Recent Sullivan County Bookings
Sullivan County publishes no daily arrest log, booking log, mugshot feed, or current-arrest portal. PSP's Public Information Release Report subscription is the official blotter substitute. Readers can subscribe by station for public incident and safety releases, but a release feed is not a full arrest ledger. Its silence does not prove that no arrest occurred.
The booking process normally moves through arrest and transport, intake identity and property, fingerprinting, charge verification, health and security screening, preliminary arraignment and bail, classification, court transport, and release or transfer. Sullivan County Arrest Report Requests
PSP accepts its Right-to-Know requests by mail, email, fax, or in person. Identify the incident date and place, station, CAD or case number, and the exact item sought. An active investigation or protected safety, juvenile, victim, or identifier content can lead to redaction or denial.
Sullivan County's Open Records Office handles records the county maintains. It requires the fillable request form with the first submission and accepts it by mail or email. The office is at 245 Muncy Street, P.O. Box 157, Laporte, and its phone is 570-946-7331. Criminal court cases do not go there. Send those to MDJ 44-3-03 or the Clerk, and send PSP-created incident reports to PSP.

PSP Reports Beyond Arrest Records
An incident report can document an event even if no arrest occurs. A crash report follows another route entirely and is not requested under RTKL. The official PSP crash-report portal searches by CAD or case number, or by last name with incident date. PSP says to allow at least 15 days after the incident. Eligible requesters complete contact and reason fields after finding the report.

The crash report fee is $22. PSP says an approval or denial usually arrives within seven business days, followed by a payment link and a separate report email. Mail requests go to the PSP Crash Reports Unit, 1800 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110. This route applies to crash records, not a general Sullivan County arrest history.
Arrest Records vs Conviction Records
An arrest record begins with police and custody. A conviction record results from a plea or verdict entered by a court. Note: An arrest is not proof of guilt, and every allegation must be checked against the court's final disposition.
When Sullivan County Arrests Persist
An ordinary PATCH request costs $22 and compares submitted identity data with the PSP Central Repository. It is narrower than a person's own Access and Review record. A possible match can return “Request Under Review” while PSP resolves the identity; that status is not a finding. PATCH also does not replace the UJS docket or the original police report.

It includes conviction and non-conviction entries and is the sound starting point for a correction or expungement review. If a disposition is missing, get a certified court record from the correct Sullivan County clerk and follow PSP's challenge process. If the court docket itself is wrong, ask that court custodian to correct its record.
Juvenile arrests are generally confidential. Expunged, sealed, and limited-access matters also leave ordinary remote public results under Pennsylvania law. Their absence from an online Sullivan County arrest search does not show whether an authorized agency retains access.
